Spread the Word

Filed under: Holiday gifts, custom cookbooks — Ashley @ 12:51 pm

As the holiday season approaches (less than 90 days away), the PR team at The Secret Ingredients is working hard to let everyone know what you already do; that Secret Ingredients cookbooks make awesome holiday gifts.  Since any good company knows it’s nothing without its customers, we’re going straight to the source.  Spread the word!!!

We encourage you all to share your Secret Ingredients experience with friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, and more.  Whether it is in passing, at a lunch, a PTA meeting, or church bulletin board; let them know that you’ve tapped into the world of customized cookbook making and the personalized and treasured gift has proved to be quite awe inspiring.  Plus, there’s no need to fight crowds at the mall, deal with last minute shopper traffic, or burn a half a tank of gas looking for the perfect parking spot at the nearest outlet store.

As always, the Secret Ingredients Blog is the place to be for up to date company and product information, as well as tips, tricks, and yummy recipes to take advantage of in your own kitchen, plus great gift giving ideas.  Also, feel free to reach out to us with any questions, comments, suggestions, or cool stories at info@heirloomcookbook.com.

That’s it for me, until next time…

Keepsake Cookbook Previews

Filed under: New features, custom cookbooks, keepsake cookbooks — Kate @ 2:46 pm

Want to see exactly what your Keepsake Cookbook will look like before it goes to print?  No problem!  After you place your order, you will receive an email from us that has links to your cookbook preview.  Simply click on the links and voila!

Wedding Keepsake Cookbook

What if you want to change something after you see the preview?  Is that possible?

Of course!  Just send us a note back, and we will re-open your cookbook project so that you can make the edits you would like.  You won’t be able to add more recipes at this stage, but you can change spacing, spelling and edit your recipes.

Will editing my cookbook after the preview affect production time?

Yes, it may.  It really depends on how long it takes for you to make changes.  Production takes up to 2 1/2 weeks after we have your final approval, so it’s best to make your changes quickly and to allow plenty of time if you have a special occasion.

When our new website launches in November, you will actually be able to preview your cookbook before you place the order.  Yet another exciting feature to look forward to!

Have questions?  Feel free to email us at info@heirloomcookbook.com.  We are glad to help!

Have a great weekend everyone,
Kate

Gift Certificates are Available for the Holidays!

Filed under: custom cookbooks, gift certificate, gift ideas — Kate @ 10:04 am

Finding the perfect Holiday gift is hard, especially if the person you are shopping for has everything! If you are like me, finding an unique gift is important. I try to give my loved ones special, personalized gifts that they instantly love. For example, every year I make my sister Whitney a beautiful photo book that captures her family’s memories of the year and her two growing children. Of course, this year she is also receiving a Keepsake Cookbook with my favorite recipes of the year!

Giving your loved ones a gift certificate for a custom cookbook is a gift that will be remembered for years to come! Whether your recipient is the family matriarch, a new mother, a gourmet chef/foodie or your family’s favorite cook, she/he will love making their own cookbook.

Gift certificates are available for Heirloom and Keepsake cookbooks. Email us at info@HeirloomCookbook.com or call us toll free at (866) 697-3247. We are happy to help you give the perfect gift! Gift certificates will be available until December 22, and will be sent by priority mail or email.

Creative Ways to Give Secret Ingredients Gift Certificates:

  • Fill a Christmas stocking with cooking utensils, recipes, and the gift certificate. Precious!
  •

  • Include a several handwritten recipe cards with the gift certificate. They could be your favorite, time-tested recipes or family recipes that have survived generations!
  •

  • Bake your favorite Holiday treat, wrap it up beautifully, and affix the gift certificate to the packaging.
